Map of The Angler's Inn
The Angler's Inn, a spacious Victorian Bed and Breakfast, is truly a 'Home away from Home'
where you can rest and enjoy the historic and outdoor adventure that Harpers Ferry, WV
brings to the Blue Ridge Mountains.

The soothing mountain air and the sound of the Potomac and Shenandoah Rivers converging
at the historic village of Harpers Ferry bring a tranquil setting to a fascinating piece of our
nation's history.

George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Robert Harper, Robert E. Lee, John Brown,
Stonewall Jackson and W.E.B DuBois are just a few persons who helped to shape national
history through their actions here at Harpers Ferry.  The Harpers Ferry National Historical
Park, located 7/10ths of a mile from our B&B, provides an outstanding educational venue to
explore.

A quaint historic shopping area is located adjacent to the National Historical Park and is
perfect for finding unique gifts and treasures.  Our cafes and restaurants provide convenient
and tasty meals for lunch and dinner.

While we offer a professional Fishing Guide Service through the Inn, Harpers Ferry has
something for everyone: History, Shopping, Whitewater Sports, Biking, Hiking.  We are
delighted to be able to say that guests with all  interests have found our B&B a comfortable
and refreshing place to relax and vacation in the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Our Guest Rooms:

All of our guest rooms are spacious and welcoming.  They each have their own private sitting
room as well as private bath.  Our guests often comment on the luxury that our private sitting
rooms offer.  Our private baths have been carefully renovated to provide modern fixtures
consistent with the period of the house.  While each offers a slightly different layout and decor,
all our guest rooms are about the same size.  Wireless access is available for your
convenience, passkey is conveniently located in your guest room.

The Fenwick Room is named for Royal Fenwick, a character in Phyllis Whitney's mystery
novel about Harpers Ferry, Daughter of the Stars.   This open and airy room is graced with a
king sized bed, which can be split to two twins to accommodate two friends travelling
together.  The lovely sunporch as its Sitting Room offers respite with a good book or parlor
game.  The ensuite private bath includes a luxurious clawfoot tub with stand up shower.

Named for the previous owner of our home, the
Remington Room is quaint and romantic.
The Guest Room is cozy yet spacious with a queen sized bed. The sitting room is open, airy
and nestled next to our tall pine tree creating a natural feeling of privacy. The Clawfoot Tub
with handheld shower in the ensuite bathroom is a perfectly romantic setting for rest and
relaxation while stepping back a bit in time.

The Wager Room is named for the Wager Family who inherited Robert Harper's Estate and
operated Harper's Ferry for a while after he died. The main part of this Guest Room holds a
double bed.  The Sitting Room is connected with an adjoining door and also holds a double
bed.

In this case the bath, which is private to this guest room is located just a few steps across the
hall. Both the Sitting Room and the main Guest Room have doors that exit to the hallway for
easy access to the bath (we provide robes for you as well).

This is a wonderful arrangement for two friends or family members travelling together. This
works well for a party of three. We are pleased to accommodate children over 12.

Named for the designer of the handmade wooden boats that we fish from, the
McKenzie
Room
is located on our first floor.  The room has a private entrance from the outside of the
house, into it's private sitting room.  The main part of the guest room holds a Queen bed.  A
uniquely designed walk-in shower is located in the ensuite bath, which also has gracious
french windows that open to a lovely view of our garden.
