Welcome to the Soundview Cottage B&B, a secluded, romantic, completely private guest
house. Enjoy the spectacular view from your private deck and hot tub. Curl up and relax in the
charming living room with cozy electric woodstove, stereo, Cable TV, DVD, and VCR with a
generous library of videos and music, while the high-speed Internet connection lets you stay
in touch.
Wrap up in one of our soft spa robes, step onto the deck, and let your cares melt away in the
hot tub, overlooking the waterways of Puget Sound. At the end of the day, fall into the comfy
king-sized bed piled high with down pillows and comforter.
The cottage guest enjoys one of the most stunning views of Puget Sound, overlooking the
beach houses of Three Tree Point, with a backdrop of the Olympic Mountains. Guests enjoy
sunsets over Vashon Island and eagles cruising the tall trees from the private deck and hot
tub.
Innkeeper:
Annie never intended to own a bed and breakfast cottage. "I was driving around looking for a
home to buy, and the view from this spot took my breath away. It turned out the cottage was
already a successful bed and breakfast," says Annie.
She's decided she really enjoys innkeeping. For those who've delighted in the Soundview
Cottage in years past, Annie is keeping it basically the way it's always been, catering to
guests who cherish their privacy.
Born in Mississippi, raised in Los Angeles, Annie has enjoyed living in the Seattle area,
where she brought up three kids. Annie is now the proud grandmother of four boys and one
little princess.
Before retiring in 2002, she worked as an environmental educator at the Department of
Ecology. Then she became an activist for voter registration, peace, and publicly funded
elections.
Annie hopes you can come and share in the beauty of Soundview - the legacy of hospitality
continues whether you're a business traveler, or looking for that perfect place for a personal
retreat or romantic getaway. Experience Seattle's best private guest cottage!
