Misty Valley Inn is located close to Olympic National Park, Lake Crescent, Sol Duc Hot
Springs, the Hoh Rainforest, the Pacific Ocean (Rialto Beach and LaPush) and Forks,
Washington the Home of the "Twilight" book series.
Nestled on a ridge in the rain forest, the Misty Valley Inn is a Bed & Breakfast Inn set in a
modern 6000 square foot stone and cedar home. A magnificent view of the Sol Duc
Meadows, tree-lined river, elusive elk or maybe even a bull elk await guest Antique
furniture and collectibles are set off by the hand rubbed natural woods, rock work and
unusual lighting.
The rosewood baby grand piano is tuned and ready to play.
Excellent personal service is provided each guest, including individualized wake-up and
breakfast service times and personally selected menus.
Guest Rooms
The Misty Valley Inn offers four distinctly different guest rooms. The Dutch Room (available
during July through September) has a King size bed with a full private bath and its own
deck for $115 to $130 per night plus tax. The Irish and French Rooms have a large
shower included in the private bath and the English Room has a full private bath. All three
rooms have queen size beds for $95 to $110 per night plus tax. All rooms sleep two
persons. A rollaway can be placed in the Dutch Room for an extra $30 per night plus tax.
We do not accept children under the age of 12.

The gardens feature 26 varieties of rhododendrons, over 50 varieties of roses, 18
varieties of trees and numerous native plants accented with seasonal flowering
perennials and annuals. The outdoor spa is next to the rose garden.

A Special Place
The Misty Valley Inn offers a rare combination of Northwest hospitality and luxurious
European style service. Our goal is to provide a relaxed atmosphere where guests are
immersed in magnificent views, excellent personal service and marvelous food. The Inn
dogs, Mya and Mo Mo are always available for petting. Or you may want to spend some
time looking for leprechauns under the giant carved mushroom in the Inn wooded area.
Assistance is provided to guests planning fishing trips, hikes, walks, photography
sessions, river rafting and shopping. Hand drawn maps, reservations and itineraries are
quickly prepared for guests.
Smoking is permitted only on the decks.
The Ultimate Breakfast Experience
Morning begins quietly with a tap at the door and a bedside tray of freshly brewed
imported coffee, teas, hot chocolate or iced juices. The tray also has hand made cards
display the daily weather, tides and sunset information.
Main breakfast is served in the formal dining room looking out over the Misty Valley or on
either of the double decks. The resident Stellar Blue Jays, chipmunks, or their many
friends may look on through the window while you eat.
Homemade breads, pastries and fruit dishes await the guest at the dining table. Misty
Valley Inn specialities include Washington Apple Souffle, Irish Waffles with Orange Sauce,
Strawberry Crepes, Old Fashion French Toast, or subtle Moroccan Omelets or fruit and
nut pancakes. Each guest receives a meal that has been hand tailored to the individual
and personal favorites are readily served.
The Hostess, Rachel, is a Registered Dietitian and diet modifications are easily
accommodated.
Tea is served in the afternoon and an evening snack buffet is at the whim of the chef.
Travel Instructions
Misty Valley Inn is located two miles north of Forks on Highway 101.
As you travel from Port Angeles the green mile marker number signs on the left side of the
road the number will get smaller. We are located just south of mile marker 195. You also
should see our large road sign and on the west side of the road you should see a blue
lodging sign directly across from the driveway. You will be turning left. It is a split driveway
and you want the one on the left. At the head of the driveway is our lighted individual sign.
Come and park in the lot by the umbrella tree.
As you go north from Forks you will cross two bridges and come up on to a straight stretch
of highway 101. You should see our large road sign and on the west side of the road you
should see a blue lodging sign directly across form the driveway. You will be turning right.
It is a split driveway and you'll want the one on the left. At the head of the driveway is our
lighted individual sign. If you go past mile marker 195, you missed the driveway. Come
and park in the upper lot by the umbrella tree.
