spreading oaks and brilliant seasonal flowers. The Pomegranate House and Cottages
Bed and Breakfast is the perfect escape located just a few blocks from the Historic
Square. Each of our four uniquely designed cottages offers a luxurious, tranquil setting
where you can relax, read a good book or just daydream to the gentle sound of the
beautiful waterfall at the koi pond. Relax in our guest lounge or gather with friends for a
scrapebook party or small business meeting. A microwave, popcorn, DVD collection and
a large library of easy reading books are available in the lounge.
Looking for something even more private or larger? Enjoy our charming offsite Pecan
Cottage with a king bedroom and full kitchen. This cottage will accommodate up to five
guests.
We are pet friendly so your best friend can come too!
All of the very private cottages offer designer linens, ceiling fans, private baths with
whirlpool tubs, spa showers or hand-held showers, electric fireplaces, fluffy robes, TV
with DVD player, iPod clock radios, refrigerators, coffee makers and individual air/heat
controls. A full gourmet breakfast is served each morning in the dining room, on the open
porch overlooking the waterfall or delivered to your cottage. Treats are available all day
and dessert is served in the evenings. All cottages are first floor with just a few steps to
the porches.
We are also the perfect place for small meetings, family reunions, or birthday celebrations
in our private lounge/meeting room. Small, intimate weddings are forever memorable in
our beautiful courtyard.

Savor the tranquility in the heart of Granbury as you relax and unwind in your private
cottage—just a short, nostalgic trolley or bike ride from the historic square.
Casually elegant, each unique cottage at the Pomegranate House Bed and Breakfast is
luxurious with either a queen or king bed with designer linens, and private bath, with
tub/shower, most with whirlpool tubs.
All of our cottages have coffee makers so you can enjoy a steaming cup anytime on your
private porch while reading, or just dreaming.
Each cottage also has TV/DVD and refrigerators for your convenience. Electric fireplaces,
high-speed internet access, hair dryers, plush robes and clock radios with iPod docks
further enhance your stay.
Blue Heron
Stroll down the rock walkway through our delightful garden nestled under majestic live
oaks to the Blue Heron Cottage. A beautiful white iron queen size bed, electric fireplace,
private bath with a jetted tub, hand-held shower and pedestal sink create a comforting
atmosphere. Jewel tones of blues, browns and golds enhance the romance of this pond
side cottage. Perfect for a romantic honeymoon or just a relaxing afternoon on your private
porch enjoying the garden, koi pond and waterfall.
Royal Oak
This cozy cottage is situated in our beautiful pond and waterfall area, creating a courtyard
effect. A queen size four-poster bed and dormer windows enhance a very romantic setting
as the moonlight shines through. Wonderful hues of browns, golds and a hint of mint
green create an intimate atmosphere. The large bath includes an extra wide whirlpool tub
with hand-held shower. Relax in your room by the electric fireplace or enjoy a good book
on your private porch while watching the koi under the waterfall.
Garden Cottage
Decorated in tones of green and brown, our romantic suite offers a private sitting area with
large windows overlooking the gardens and pond. The sitting area also offers a twin size
sleeper sofa and romantic electric fireplace. The bedroom features a beautiful king size
white iron bed with designer linens. The charming bath has an antique claw foot tub and
a large walk-in spa shower for the ultimate in relaxation. This suite accommodates three
people.
Carriage House
The Carriage House Cottage nestles quietly under a 300 year-old live oak tree. Decorated
in luxurious royal shades of reds and golds, it features a king-size, four-poster bed, cozy
sitting area, and an electric fireplace. The bathroom is a delightful combination of toile
wallpaper, crystal chandeliers, two-person whirlpool tub and huge double walk-in shower.
Pecan Cottage
You’ll find this wonderful little cottage house less than a mile from the Pomegranate
House. It is the ultimate in seclusion and private relaxation. This charming cottage can
accommodate up to five guests. The living room includes a queen size sofa bed, TV and
DVD. The fully equipped kitchen has a stove, refrigerator, microwave, pots, pans and
coffee service and is complete with dinner & tableware for 8. There is even a washer and
dryer for guest use. The romantic bedroom features a king size bed with luxurious linens
and antique furnishings. The bath includes a whirlpool tub-shower combination and a
large walk-in closet. To enhance your private compound, there is a front porch area with
rocking chairs and a relaxing backyard. A full breakfast is enjoyed by guests either at the
Pomegranate House or delivered to the cottage. Pet Friendly and Children Welcome!
House Policies
* The Pomegranate House allows pets with advance notice. Out of consideration of
other guests, pets must be quiet in the cottages and on a leash at all times when outside.
We ask that pets provide us with their owner's cell phone number if they intend to leave
them alone in their cottage.
* Smoking is not permitted in any building. We provide ashtrays on our porches.
* Room rates include a hearty full breakfast served between 8:30 and 9:30 AM and
evening refreshments.
* Third person in room is $20.00 per night
* Check-in is available beginning at 3:00 PM. Check-out is 11:00 AM. We appreciate
notification if you will be arriving later than 10:00 PM.
* Cancellations - Reservation must be secured by check or credit card equal to one
night's lodging. A $25.00 processing fee, will be made if cancellation notice is received at
least ten days prior to arrival. Guests canceling/changing their reservation dates less than
ten days in advance of their scheduled arrival date or during their stay, are responsible for
all nights we are unable to resell.
