Come and relax at Acorn Bed and Breakfast, a private romantic getaway guesthouse
nestled in the beautiful Texas Hill Country, just a mile from historical charming Boerne,
Texas where there's shopping, dining, and sightseeing and only a short drive to San
Antonio.
Enjoy the gardens that are beautifully landscaped for birds, butterfllies and guests. Listen
to the thrill of the flitting songbirds...see the butterflies sipping nectar from flowers in the
gardens...hear the plop of a frog jumping into the goldfish pond. This isn't your yard you
say? Well, it is ours at Acorn Bed and Breakfast. The National Wildlife Federation has
certified Acorn Bed and Breakfast as an official Backyard Wildlife Habitat site! We were the
first Boerne Bed and Breakfast to be nationally certified as a Backyard Wildlife Habitat. The
blinking firefly show, although seasonal, is complementary for guests to experience and
enjoy at dusk. Connecting with nature in our backyard will feed your soul and lift your
spirits during your stay.
This charming and comfortable guesthouse has one bedroom, a sitting room with local
TV/VCR, two baths, one with a jacuzzi bathtub and the other with shower. It has a warm
country kitchen with a microwave and coffemaker as well as complimentary beverages in
the refrigerator. A full home cooked breakfast will be brought to you in your private
romantic guesthouse each morning at a time you choose! (We can accommodate
vegetarian, diabetic and other restrictive diets) Hal has recently been diagnosed with
Celiac Disease so we now offer a Gluten-Free breakfast!! Also, provided in the guest
house is a file of gluten-free menus from nearby restaurants.

A country antique queen size bed in this bright bedroom and bath with jacuzzi bathtub.
While lying in bed you can watch the stars through the large patio door that leads to your
own private back porch and secluded courtyard, perfect for enjoying your morning coffee.
Enjoy your hearty full breakfast at the antique harvest table or on your private porch in the
secluded courtyard.
So come enjoy our clean country air, beautiful Texas Hill Country, and an unforgettable
star-filled Texas sky, all from your back porch. Acorn Bed and Breakfast....for wonderful

Driving Directions:
From San Antonio (20 minutes)
Take I-10 West to Exit 540 (Bandera, New Braunfels)
Turn left on State Hwy 46 West. (You will pass over I-10 west)
Go one mile past the Home Depot.
Acorn Bed and Breakfast will be on your left.
From Austin via New Braunfels (2 hours)
Go South on I-35 to State Hwy 46 West
Take Hwy 46 West to Boerne.
Turn left on Main Street and proceed to Bandera Road (the first traffic light).
Turn right on Bandera Road.
Proceed straight over I-10 one mile past the Home Depot.
Acorn Bed and Breakfast will be on your left.
Room Rates:
$125.00 per night/1 or 2 people
Breakfast is included, complimentary. Price is the same with no breakfast.
Texas sales tax and Boerne bed tax are assessed separately.

Advance deposit of first nite stay is required to secure your reservation. Balance is due
upon arrival.

We do not impose a two nite minimum stay, one nite reservations accepted.
Cancellations:
Because of our size, cancellations affect us significantly.
Notice of cancellation must be received at least 14 days in advance of arrival. The advance
deposit will be fully refunded.
Wedding cancellations: Our normal cancellation policy applies to your room. If you cancel
your wedding more than 30 days prior to your wedding date, there is a $100.00
cancellation fee. Weddings that are cancelled 15 - 30 days prior to the wedding date lose
50% of their deposit. Weddings that are cancelled within 14 days or less will lose their full
deposit.

receive a $20.00 gas card as a thank you! This special is only available when you book

Wedding Special:
Let us make your wedding day special. Enjoy the simple elegance of an outdoor wedding
in a romantic backdrop, set among lush greenery and majestic oak trees in our Backyard
Habitat. We decorate the gazebo and are able to seat guests in white chairs. Our garden
area is suitable for small weddings. Please call for more information about pricing plans -
(830)249-0470. Customized packages can include wedding ceremony, reception and
lodging.
