This lovely home, built in the early 1900's in historic Edgefield, sits just east of the
Cumberland River and downtown Nashville. Located in a vibrant community famous for its
stunning houses, exquisite churches, urban flavor, and cultural diversity, the Big Bungalow
offers just the right mix of urban convenience and a warm, homey atmosphere.

Massage
As a licensed massage therapist for many years, I am excited to offer massage as a perfect
complement to the relaxing environment of the Big Bungalow. Roll out of bed, receive a
massage and feel great all day - -or receive a massage before going to sleep for a perfect
night of rest.
Food Lovers
I prepare a delicious breakfast featuring specialties of the house and savory fresh roasted
coffee from our very own East Nashville Bongo Java Roasting Co.
Music
Right in our own living room! You are invited to hear some of the great musicians and
songwriters who give Nashville its reputation as Music City, USA. Four or five songwriters
sit in a circle and perform their original songs. It's your opportunity to be part of the inside
music scene in Nashville - who knows, you might hear the next big country hit or meet the
next big country star! See the Events section for scheduled music nights.
Art
A wide range of art, including paintings and sculpture, grace the surroundings of the Big
Bungalow. Local artists are well represented...you might even decide to take a piece home
for a great price.

The Big Bungalow is about a mile from a myriad of attractions and tourist delights,

Mansion as well as many beautiful public parks. For walkers and joggers, Shelby Park is

countless antique shops and antique malls.
And when it's time to fill your tummy, I've got the scoop on the city's best and most fun

Deposits:
For a one to three night stay, a deposit of one night's rate per room is required at the time of
the reservation. For four or more nights, 50% of the total is required at the time of the
reservation.
Cancellations/Refunds:
The cancellation deadline is 14 days prior to your arrival date (30 days for holidays and
special events). Cancellation made prior to this period will receive a full refund less a $30
processing fee. Cancellation made within 14 days of your arrival date (30 for holidays and
special events), may forfeit the entire deposit, depending on whether the room can be
booked with another guest. Last-minute cancellations within 48 hours must be charged in
full.
Sorry, but there are no refunds for early departure or shortened stays.

You are all invited to visit my home. The guest rooms are welcoming and cozy, but so is the
dining room and living room. Enjoy the comfort each place in the house has to offer.
Grand Suite; A roomy, elegant master suite with king size bed and adjoining room with love
seat that doubles as a comfortable pull-out sleeper, perfect for extra guests or kids. Large
bathroom with jacuzzi and separate shower features a view of the downtown Nashville
skyline.
Valentine Room; A romantic, French provincial suite with queen size bed and a tub right in
the room itself. Adjoining sitting area with day bed. You'll feel like you're in another place in
time.
Cozy Room; A cozy, comfy refuge. A queen size bed and a calming atmosphere that will
enhance your Big Bungalow experience. Large, private bathroom just down the hall.
