If you're looking for a bed and breakfast with a difference, then you've found it! Enjoy
exploring the fun and picturesque town of Sitges from the romantic, unique, tranquil
& atmospheric setting of Willowmoon, a traditional wooden sailboat with heaps of
history and character. So…….welcome aboard! With a friendly personal service and a
great location in the secure & peaceful, yet fun & vibrant, marina setting of Port
Aiguadolç right next to the beaches and a short walk from the town centre, we offer the
best bed and breakfast experience on the seven seas!
A warm and friendly greeting awaits you on board, along with a refreshing glass of cava,
beer or juice to help you unwind after your journey. The owners Lisa and Vick welcome
you to their home and are always on hand to offer recommendations for Sitges best
shops, restaurants, bars and tourist attractions, as well as information about local
sightseeing areas such as Barcelona, Tarragona, Montserrat and the beautiful Garraf
region all around.
The location of Willowmoon’s mooring in the marina complex is close to all the activity of
the many restaurants, bars & clubs within Port Aiguadolç but far enough away from
them not to be a noise nuisance. The marina is home to many businesses, run by
helpful & friendly locals, and hosts a variety of entertainment shows throughout the
spring and summer months.
An electronic pass is provided for the security gates in the Marina, and you will be given a
key to your own private quarters on board Willowmoon which you can access at all times
day or night via a separate entrance. So you can come and go as you please, but with the
knowledge that both you and your belongings will be secure on board.
The bed and breakfast accommodation consists of the wheelhouse with a cosy seating
area, mini-fridge and tea & coffee making facilities, as well as crockery and cutlery
etc. so that you can prepare food for yourselves to consume on board if you wish. Below
deck the cabin area contains a double berth and a large single berth, with plenty of
storage space in the form of a wardrobe, a drawer and several shelves. Plenty of natural
light and fresh air from the 2 sky lights and 4 port holes make the cabin comfortable even
in summer. An en-suite bathroom attached contains a WC, sink and corner bath with
shower attachment, and offers a lovely view of blue skies above via another 2 sky lights.
A generous and delicious breakfast is usually served on deck, at a time of your
choosing, but can be taken in the wheelhouse if preferred. It comprises a variety of
products prepared fresh each morning using local ingredients, such as fresh fruit salad,
yoghurt, muesli, freshly baked croissants and rolls and a selection of meats, cheeses,
olives, tomatoes etc. with fresh coffee, tea and juice.
Breakfast is included in the price but lunch &/or dinner can also be provided at an
additional cost. A typical dinner comprises a soup starter, paella for main course, a
traditional Catalan desert of Crema Catalana and side dishes of a mixed salad and
tomato bread, all washed down with a couple of bottles of chilled cava and a jug of iced
water to help alleviate the morning-after symptoms!
The deck, with a hammock and deckchairs in the sun as well as a table and chairs in the
shade, is yours to enjoy at all times, to sunbathe, relax or watch the spectacular sunsets
enjoyed by Sitges from this unique location.
There will be no other guests on board during your stay so the accommodation and deck
is only for you, making it feel like your own. So, sipping a cocktail on private deck of a
beautiful boat, watching the world go by or the sun slip over the horizon – what’s not to
love?!!
Linen, towels, hairdryer, fans, washing products, tea/coffee making facilities &
kitchen utensils are all provided, as are a variety of books, board games and tourist
information which you are free to borrow. An iron & ironing board can also be
provided if required, and if there is anything you need which we haven’t thought about
please just ask. The boat is centrally heated throughout & there is constant hot
water, and additional shower, toilet & laundry facilities are also available within the
marina complex.
Bins are emptied, and kitchen utensils washed & products replenished daily.
Towels are changed every 3-4 days, or more frequently at the request of the guests. And
the cabin will be cleaned & the linen changed mid-stay also at the request of the
guests.
Sitges is served by Barcelona el Prat Airport which is about 15km away. Getting from the
airport to Sitges is both cheap and easy on either the RENFE train or MonBus both of
which will drop you in the centre of town. Then it is a 15 minute walk or a short taxi ride to
the marina. A taxi from the airport to Port Aiguadolç costs approximately 30-35 euros. Full
directions and maps will be sent to you with your booking confirmation.
Willowmoon is the ideal location for midweek/weekend breaks, your annual vacation,
romantic getaways or even your honeymoon!! Our truly unique bed & breakfast provides

Single person supplement of 45 Euros per night as the solo traveller will enjoy the
complete guest facilities of Willowmoon
50 Euros Celebration Package per stay
All prices include breakfast. The minimum stay required is 2 nights at weekends and
guests are requested to leave by 11.00am on the morning of departure.
We would respectfully point out that for safety reasons there are some restrictions on
board:
* no smoking below deck
* the marine environment and low deck rails may be unsuitable for very young children
* the stairs are very steep and may be restrictive to the elderly or the infirm.
