The house is a typical Catalan farm-house surrounded by a beautiful garden with its own
swimming pool and extensive ploughed fields. Perfect for relaxing and recharging one’s
batteries while enjoying nature.
Air conditioning ensures comfort in the summer, there is central heating for those cool
winter evenings and the sitting room has a large log fire.
Rooms:
The house has:
* 3 twin-bedded rooms at 60 € each per night.
* 1 double-bedded bedroom is ensuite at 90 € per night.
* 1 double room at 80 € per night.
These prices include breakfast for two.
Evening meals are available and lovingly prepared with fresh local vegetables and fruit.
Aprox. 20 € per person including wine.

other tourist information in the house. Melissa has forty years experience of life in the
area and is happy to give you lots of tips about where to go, where to eat, what to visit or
where to shop, etc.
Bird Watching
Bird life is abundant and exotic.
We see golden oriols, bee-eaters, hoopooes or nightingales in the garden and a range
of raptors including buzzards, egrets and herons in the local fields.
Aiguamolls de l’Empordà Bird Sanctuary is only a 40 minute drive.
Painting
The area is full of every sort of exciting subjects to paint:
Seasonal colours, medieval villages, Catalan life, flora and fauna, wonderful sunsets,
etc.
Come with a group of painter friends, share your ideas and achievements in idyllic
surroundings and enjoy an excellent meal afterwards or stay a little longer and do your
own thing away from the madding crowd.
Walking
There are walks to suit all abilities.
Around the hamlet of Millàs there are many walks in the gentle hills, on dirt tracks or from
one village to another with places to visit or views to see or wild flowers to find on the way.

Despite its tranquil setting, the hamlet of Millàs is within easy reach of:
* The beaches of the Costa Brava.
* Beautiful medieval towns such as Girona, Besalú.
* Internationally renowned centres of art such as the Dalí museums at Figueres, Púbol
