A wonderful and inviting spacious attic suite; ideally suited for romantic get-a-ways. Many call it
the "Honeymoon Suite." The suite features exposed original overhead beams bearing carved
roman numerals to indicate their placement, and offers spectacular views of Kilburnie's
surroundings.
The furnishings include two snug wing chairs opposite the gas log fireplace, a circa 1840
heart-pine mantle, a comfortable four-post queen-size bed, and an upholstered daybed. The
luxurious bathroom features a pedestal sink, a large hydro therapy whirlpool bath, and an
enclosed shower.
Guests lodging in this room are encouraged to relax and enjoy the view of Craig Farm and
historic Craig House from the comfortable rocking chairs on Kilburnie's second story front porch.

This large room with blue and yellow fabrics is dedicated to the great 16th century Italian
architect Andrea Palladio and to Robert Mills, a native of South Carolina and the architect of
Lancaster's magnificent courthouse and jail. Originally located only a block away from the
courthouse and built at the same time, Kilburnie owes a great deal architecturally to the example
set by Mills, and through him, Palladio.
The furnishings include a gas log fireplace flanked by comfortable wing chairs, an antique
heart-pine mantle, and a comfortable four-poster king-size rice bed. This room also contains a
writing alcove with a nineteenth century writing table and window view of the woodlands
surrounding Kilburnie. The spacious and luxurious bathroom has a large hydro therapy
whirlpool, and enclosed shower separated by a pocket door for privacy.

on the private back porch, overlooking the back garden and woodlands.

This room is dedicated to Kilburnie's second owner, who purchased the home in 1834, added a
second story and piazza, and probably gave it its name, after the ancestral home of the
Crawfords in Scotland.
The furnishings include, two inviting wing chairs set in front of the gas log fireplace; a heart-pine
mantle original to the house, a mid-19th century blanket chest, and a comfortable four-poster
king size rice bed.
The spacious and luxurious bathroom has a large hydro therapy whirlpool, and enclosed
shower.
Guests in the Crawford room have direct access via French doors to comfortable rocking chairs
on the private back porch, which overlooks the back garden and woods surrounding the house.

wood armoire, two cozy fireside wing chairs, the original carved mantle, and a four-poster
queen-size rice bed. The floors throughout this suite are the original heart-pine.

story front porch, which has a grand view overlooking the bucolic Craig Farm and historic Craig
House.

Several families in the area, including the Craig's, are descendents of Andrew Jackson's aunts,
and thus this room is also known as "Cousin Andy's". A portrait of the seventh President is by
famed Jim Shore, a local artist.
The room has two gas-log fireplaces with original mantles - one in the bedroom (where the
mantle is finely carved), and the other in the large bathroom. Bedroom furnishings include two
cozy fireside wing chairs, and a comfortable four-poster queen-size rice bed.
The room features a large collection of old Jackson prints and etchings, including a rare colored
print of his wife Rachel. The luxurious bathroom is equipped with two pedestal sinks, a large
