Mayfield Country Cottages would like to welcome you on your next vacation in the Cavendish
Beach Resort Area of Prince Edward.
10 well appointed 3 and half star 1,2 and 3 Bedroom Cottages to choose from for your next get
away to Prince Edward Island. Centrally located on PEI, just minutes to Cavendish Beach,
Anne of Green Gables House, Avonlea Village, Shining Waters Family Fun Park and the
Sandspit Amusement Park. Located in the middle of 4 famous PEI Golf Courses, this is perfect
place to stay for your next Golf Vacation. Only minutes to the areas popular dining and Lobster
Suppers.
Atmosphere & Ammenties:
Known for our very quiet and peaceful atmosphere, it's a great place to kick back and relax while
on vacation. Featuring newly built/renovated 1, 2 and 3 Bedroom Deluxe and Luxury Cottages,
very well maintained & kept in a new like fashion and exceptionally clean. Those guests with
allergies appreciate that all cottages are Non-Smoking inside, No Pets Allowed and No Fire
Pits on site. Various Cottage Types to choose from for your next PEI Vacation, click on the tab
called “Cottage Types to view. Very quiet and safe environment which makes it ideal for
Families with small children or Seniors. We have a Heated Pool with wrap around deck, lots of
comfy chairs and sun loungers for sun bathing. Also we have a children’s playground and 5
acres of lawns to run around on or to play ball or games.
Each cottage comes fully equipped for housekeeping and has the following common
features:
* Stove & Fridge
* Microwave, coffee maker, toaster, kettle, dishes, cookware, silverware ect.
* Specialty items are not provided so guests should bring their own.
* All bedding, linens and towels are provided.
* All cottages come with Satellite TV
* Most cottages have dishwashers
* Some cottages have fireplaces and whirlpool tubs
* Cottages have electric heat and ceiling fans in each room
* All cottages have Air Conditioning (New for 2010 Season)
* Gyproc & pine interiors with carpet & vinyl flooring.
* Propane BBQ and Patio table set on the deck of each cottage
* Each cottage has it's own deck
* Air Conditioning
* Private phone with free local calls; calling card needed for long distance
* Wireless Internet Connection in each cottage (New for August 2010 )
We supply:
* Dish cloths & dish towels, pot holders/oven mits, garbage bags
* Dish soap for the dishwasher, and regular dish liquids
* Toilet paper, hotel type soaps
* Propane for the bbq
* Satellite TV
* Complementary beach pass for each cottage (good for 1 vehicle)
* 5 acres of lawns ideal for having a game of ball or soccer
* Children's playground on site.
* Children's floats for the pool
* Free Daily Beach Passes for the family, saving you the $23.00 entrance fee to Cavendish
Beach
Our Policy:
* Heated Pool with Sun Deck & Loungers is for Paying Guests OR Paying Visitors only
* Pool opens mid June and closes effective Labour Day
* Quiet time is 11pm - 8am;
* Towels are changed every other day in an effort to preserve our environment
* Cottages towels are not allowed to be used at the Pool or Beach (you will need to bring your
beach towels for outside use)
* Sorry no fires or fire pits allowed on the property due to children (& staff members) with
asthma
* No Pets allowed on the premises (including those of your Visitors)
* Off Site Visitors are permited on site between 10am - 10pm (a $5 a day/per person user fee
is required for those guests that visit for extended stays during visiting hours; All Visitors are
required to register at the office upon arrival)
* No smoking inside any units (ashtrays are provided for smoking on the deck)
* There are 5 Campgrounds within 5 mins of the cottages. Tents, camper trailers or RV's are
not permitted on the property.
