Casa das Videiras, a charming bed and breakfast facility near the beach, at Madeira's
North Coast. The small charming village, Seixal, has the majestic mountains covered in
the old laural forrest, with paths and hikes at one side and the Atlantic Ocean at its other.
You are in the middle of the village, next to the beach and minutes away from the mountain
walks. The house has four double bed rooms. The house keeper will make your
breakfast, keep your rooms tidy and can also help you with the laundry. You are free to use
the kitchen facilities yourself if wanted. However, next to this holiday home you will find
several local restaurants, some with the local fish, others where meat is the best of the
menu. This is the place where you can be away from it all, but still you can enjoy the exotic
local life.
The costs to stay here are:
* Room 1 and 2 double bed including breakfast: 50 Euros a night
* Room 3 with no view, double bed with breakfast: 40 Euros a night
* The Garden house, twin bed with breakfast: 70 Euros a night

Facilities and Decoration:
The ground floor, where the house had its wine cellar, was dug down and turned into a
lounge. In the back is the TV room, where I am planning to disclose my friend’s old dolls
collection. Then we have the dining room where also Natália will serve you breakfast. Next
to this you will find the kitchen. You are free to use this if you want.
Up the stairs is the old kitchen which now is a kind of office and reception, where you can
find a comfortable writing desk. Here are also the 3 rooms, room 1 (I like this best, you can
close the shutters and sleep in complete darkness to late noon).
Room 2 with the best view and room 3 with no view at all (that is why this room costs
less). All the rooms have in suite toilets with showers. In the garden there is a small
garden cottage. Well, this is just an extra room like the rooms inside, with its private bath,
but also here you have a private lounge.
