Situated in a 180 acre forest you will discover the peace, comfort and great hospitality of the
Apple Inn. You will be treated to great homemade goodies and the luxury of fluffy
robes and a hot tub soak. The Apple Inn is located minutes from great restaurants, antique
shopping, covered bridges, wineries, a 26 mile bike trail, two beautiful lakes and more. We are
close to Eugene for additional dining, shopping, sports, cultural events and more.
Rooms and Rates
Our Inn offers two beautifully decorated rooms. There you can relax, watch satellite TV, use
wireless internet, play boardgames and sleep in comfort. We provide a small refrigerator and
microwave for your convenience and a heated flax seed and lavender neck wrap to relax those
tired muscles. Beautiful quilts compliment the family antiques and elegant country decorating.
Our guests can relax on the spacious deck with comfortable furniture and a forest and garden
view or they can walk through the woods to the fantastic peaceful view at the top of the mountain.
A stroll through the grounds will treat you with interesting plants in the landscaping design. Our
large lawn could host a croquet match if you don’t mind chasing the ball downhill sometimes.
THE APPLE ORCHARD ROOM
This spacious room offers a charming gas fireplace, sitting area with a love seat and the family
library. The decorating features a hand stenciled apple orchard border and apple theme decor.
The private bath offers a rain shower. There is a Queen bed, two twin beds and a rollaway. We
can accommodate 5 people. A private entrance and a covered patio with seating gives you a
great view of the gardens. Rate is $145 for up to two.
TREE HOUSE ROOM
This cozy room offers a claw footed tub to soak and relax. A beautiful quilt graces the very
comfortable Queen bed. The room is decorated with a collection of whimsical small trees from
around the world. There is also a view of the forest from your windows. A rollaway can be used
in this room. Rate is $125 for up to two.
Reservations are confirmed when you give us your credit card number to hold the room. We ask
that you give us two weeks notice if you are not able to stay with us. If you must cancel with less
than 2 weeks notice, we will make every effort to fill your reservation so there will be no charge to
you.
Policies
CHECK IN TIME: 4-6pm or by previous arrangement
CHECK OUT TIME: 11am
CANCELLATIONS:
A phone call is all that is necessary to cancel a reservation.
We do not accept cancellation requests by e-mail or voice message.
Full Refund:
A full refund will be applied with 2 weeks notice.
Short Notice:
Less than 1 week notice will require full payment with a gift certificate for the full value to be used
by arrangement with your hosts.
Last Minute:
24 hour or less notice of your cancellation will require full payment.
Confirmation:
Your reservation is confirmed with your credit card. We prefer payment by check or cash. We will
charge your card in the event of a short or last minute cancellation.
CHILDREN
Children are welcome. Well behaved parents are required so that no damage is done to the
Apple Inn.
SMOKING
Smoking is only allowed outside away from the building and guests.
PETS
SOME PETS ACCEPTED. PLEASE DISCUSS WITH YOUR HOSTS. $25 PET FEE.
The Innkeepers
Harry is a professional Forester and manages the 180 acre family tree farm. He would love to
share his knowledge and take you on a “field trip” if you let us know ahead of time.
Kathe is a professional Home Economist and enjoys using her skills to decorate the Inn and
cook your great breakfasts and snacks.
Breakfast:
Breakfast is served at 8:30. Coffee and tea are available at 7:30. If you require an earlier or later
breakfast we will provide you with continental style. We will even wrap it up to go if you have an
early flight. We pride ourselves on a delicious breakfast that includes great coffee or tea, fresh
fruit, juice, entree, meat and home baked scones and muffins. The area is known for growing
great berries and they are often included in our menu selections. Kathe offers a cookbook with
her favorites that would make a great gift or memory of your stay with us. An evening snack tray
is prepared for you with a home baked treat and a selection of tea, cocoa and cider. If you prefer
coffee or decaf let us know. The tray is delivered to your room in the evening so you can skip that
desert at dinner. If you prefer your snack on the deck in the afternoon just let us know.
