The Aberdeen Inn was built as a large family residence in the early 1900's and is now part of the Grove Park neighborhood of North Asheville, close to downtown and convenient to all local attractions (see below).
Features include fireplaces, heart pine floors, lots of stained glass, antiques, and lovely Waverly window and bed treatments. Equipped with modern conveniences without losing its charm and character, the 1903 Queen Anne home has undergone an extensive restoration.
Matthews Manor Bed and Breakfast is less than 9 miles from downtown Charlotte, North Carolina. Linda and George Megee have beautifully restored it to its original flair. Your hosts originate from the Philadelphia area and spent twenty years in South Florida. The home and grounds show a warm Philadelphia sophistication and the eclectic style of South Beach.
The River Lodge is rustic elegance at its best. From the massive stone fireplace to the handmade twig beds to the gourmet breakfasts, everything about The River Lodge is a delight to the senses. This is mountain lodging that's away from town but close to everything that's great about Western North Carolina — the mountains, streams, waterfalls, trails and the never-ending panorama of spectacular scenery.
The Wright Inn, one of the finest Asheville bed and breakfast Inns, is the perfect lodging option for your time in Asheville, NC. We have combined modern amenities with Victorian splendor, resulting in a relaxing place where you can truly get away.
We built Bent Creek Lodge in 1999 with timbers cut from this incredible setting to offer Asheville visitors a retreat similar to the warm, rustic lodges we visited in the west. Nestled in a forested triangle between the Blue Ridge Parkway and the French Broad River , the lodge is only 10 miles from the center of Asheville, yet feels like a remote mountain get-a-way.
