Oakland Cottage is an historic home, circa 1910. This 5,000 square ft "cottage" has been naturally
broken into private and roomy Suites. The open common areas create a warm and spacious feel.
Conveniently located a short one and a half miles from the entrance of the Biltmore Estate and just
two miles from downtown Asheville's Pack Square, our location can't be beat.

Reserve all Of Oakland Cottage - Family Reunions, Girlfriend Getaways, Couples' Gatherings:
Oakland Cottage is popular to reserve as a "whole house" for family reunions, girlfriend get-aways,
Couples' gatherings, small Retreat Style meetings and lodging for wedding groups (and small
intimate style weddings may be held at Oakland Cottage - extra fees apply). When Oakland Cottage
is not available for your special group, do try The Historic Brigman House - available year round for
whole house reservations also.
Oakland Cottage may be reserved all-together in one of two ways:
1) With Full Services, in which rates include daily maid service, housekeeping & delightful full
breakfast each morning
2) Self-catering style rental - or without daily services, "a la carte" style - a popular option for families
and many groups. Without full services, Oakland Cottage is available to reserve by the week as well
as by the day
1) Reserving All of Oakland Cottage B&B with the "Full Service" option
Rates include use of all common spaces within the house, concierge services, daily maid room &
housekeeping services & a delightful full breakfast each in the dining room each morning:
First Sunday in January after New Years Day through First Thursday night in April:
* Friday and Saturday nights - $575 nightly for up to 10 guests
* Sunday through Thursday nights - $545 nightly for up to 10 guests
First Friday in April through first Saturday night in January after New Years Day:
* Friday and Saturday nights $635 nightly for up to 10 guests
* Sunday through Thursday nights - $575 nightly for up to 10 guests
* Add $15 for each additional guest, up to 20 guests maximum occupancy
* Add 11.75% Sales & Occupancy Taxes to all totals
2) Reserving All of Oakland Cottage "A la Carte" or self-catering
Many groups have enjoyed the added privacy & independence of having All of Oakland Cottage
without daily housekeeping, maid service & breakfast. While the Inn Keeper is still on-site in the
private-entry "Inn-Keeper's" apartment, you are really on your own and "taking care of yourself"
during your stay.
Whole Cottage Reservation Policies:
* Whole Cottage Rates without services are based on a flat & fixed rate for up to 20 guests. No
matter how small the guest, 20 is the maximum occupancy, no exceptions. Children & infants are
considered in the guest count!
* 2 night minimum stay requirement on weekend nights, except for some last minute bookings,
based on availability.
* 5 night minimum requirement on some holiday weeks such as Thanksgiving & Christmas
* Children are welcome, and the Suites are wonderful for families
* Reservation & Cancellation policies: In order to hold a reservation, 50% of the full payment is due.
This amount is refundable except for a $35 booking fee, up until 60 days prior to the reservation
date. Within 60 days of the reservation date, full payment is due and is no longer refundable.
* While we do not provide Travelers Insurance, we do recommend it if your travel plans are not firm.
We have a few contacts that we are willing to recommend.
* Add 11.75% taxes to all totals.
* When reserving All of Oakland without services, acceptance of our Rental Agreement (click to
view) is required.
Catering and Event Services
While we do not handle functions or catering, we can recommend a few caterers & event planners
and events may be arranged at Oakland Cottage (although we are limited to 4 per year). Costs
begin at $200 per event for up to 40 guests, including the overnight guests and any additional day
guests. If more than 40 guests are in attendance, up to 80 guests may attend at an additional rate
of $10 each additional guest. If extensive catering is hired by the guest, caterers must work through
Oakland Cottage and be approved; a 10% upcharge will be added to all caterer fees. All city
ordinances must be complied with, such as city quiet hours that begin at 10 pm.
