window and bed treatments. Equipped with modern conveniences without losing its charm and
character, the 1903 Queen Anne home has undergone an extensive restoration.

Cuisine ranges from Stuffed French Toast, Waffles Banana Foster to Sausage Gravy and
Biscuits. Hosted evening social hour with hors d'oeuvres and beverages.

In short, everything you ever wanted in a bed and breakfast in a historic town full of ante bellum
homes, low-priced real estate, antique shops, a real Main Street, and wonderful people. We also
offer a variety of special packages
including Cajun cooking weekends and Lovers Retreats.

Accommodations and Rates

Guest rooms are named after the ladies of the house who lived here during its history. All rooms
feature queen-sized beds, beautiful heart pine floors, lovely window treatments and interesting
antiques. The Ivy has four lovely bedrooms and three baths. The Ivy Suite consists of two of the
rooms connected by the adjoining bath.

Rates range from
$70 (for one person, shared adjoining bath) to $120 ( three persons, private
bath), plus tax. Rates include a 3-course candlelit breakfast, evening hors D'Oeuvres, coffee and
a guest refrigerator with soft drinks and bottled water available 24 hours.

Gift certificates and entertainment packages are available. The Ivy accepts AMEX, Cash, Discover,
MasterCard, Visa and Personal Checks.

Strolling Around The Ivy

In addition to the quaint guest rooms, The Ivy has many other interesting and quiet corners to
enjoy.

Pat's Porch: A large wraparound porch with several wicker conversation and dining areas, rocking
chairs, ceiling fans, and a round portico entrance. Beverages are served here on pleasant
evenings.

Carter Williams Parlour: The Carter Williams Parlour is named after the first owner of the house
and is a wonderful area to relax by the fireplace, listen to music, visit or read a good book. Guests
are invited to play the baby grand piano.

Nannie Tarwater Dinning Room: A large and elegant room with an enormous table, a glorious
oriental rug, stunning window treatments and a fireplace for chilly morning.

Angie's House: A charming outbuilding named after Miss Angie Peete, the maid and cook for the
house for decades.

Open all year round.
No minimum stay required.
Gift Certificates Available.
Check in time is from 3:00 until 6:00 PM.
Checkout time is 11:00 AM. Other times by prior arrangement.
Cancellations received less than seven days before your check-in date require payment in the full
amount for the entire stay. Holiday weekends may require advance payment in full at reservation.
A nearby kennel is available with prior arrangement.
The Ivy is suitable for children over six years of age.

Guest Rooms
Guest rooms have queen-size beds, clock radios, air conditioning, telephone, cable television
and wireless high speed internet access. Amenities in select rooms are an oversize bath tub with
Jacuzzi jets, ceiling fan, canopy bed and VCR/DVD player.

Mini Business Center
If you have some urgent business to take care of, a fax and copy machine are available.

Activities

Enjoy the many different area activities or relax close to home. Rock on Pat's Porch or sit by the
fireplace and read a good book from our library. If you have musical talent, you might enjoy playing
our antique grand piano in the Carter Williams Parlour.  Or perhaps you would enjoy a very
relaxing massage from our local massage therapist, Tranquil Palms Bodywork Therapy.

Coffee & Refreshments
All guests enjoy early morning coffee and evening refreshments served in the Nannie Tarwater
Dining Room or outside on Pat's Porch.
