Invercargill Golf Courses
Invercargill has many excellent courses including the Invercargill Golf Course, rated one
of the top 10 in New Zealand. Beautiful fairways and well groomed greens. Players are
welcome almost anytime. Pat and Frank Club members and would welcome playing a
round with you.
Queens Park
Stately Feldwick Gates are the main entrance to Queens Park, which is centrally located
and of easy level walking. Well established trees, rose gardens and massive flowering
rhododendrons. A wild life park, bird aviary, 18-hole golf course, fitness track all
complement the 200 acre park. Meals and snacks available at the café located within the
grounds. Well worth a visit.
Southland Museum
Located also within the outskirts of Queens Park is the Southland Museum famous for its
live tuataras, Art Gallery and Café.
Anderson Park
The gracious and elegant Anderson Park is found on the outskirts of Invercargill and the
spectacular home on the grounds houses an Art Gallery with a splendid collection of
New Zealand art.
Bluff
Bluff is New Zealand’s southern most port. Home of the in season delicious Bluff
Oysters. Stirling point has panoramic views of Stewart Island, Foveaux Strait a sight not to
be missed. Local walking tracks surrounding Bluff Hill and cafes to compliment the views.
Stewart Island
Stewart Island – Rakiura National Park. Take a spectacular flight or travel by ferry to the
Island. Discover a natural world of lush bush and stunning coastline. Enjoy magnificent
views, abundant birdlife (including the Kiwi), succulent seafood and the relaxed
atmosphere it has to offer.
The Catlins
The Southern Scenic Route is travelled from Dunedin south down the Catlins Coastline
to Invercargill. Nature walks, waterfalls, yellow eyed penguins, dolphins, sea lions and
beaches are just some of the terrific sights to behold on this journey.

From your Invercargill accommodation you are just a day trip away from Te Anau, Milford
Sound and Fiordland National Parks, all of which have some world-renowned walking
tracks.
Trout Fishing
Southland Rivers are known world wide for their excellent trout fishing. Fishing Guides

Directions to "The Manor"
The Manor Bed and Breakfast and Homestay is just five minutes drive east from
Invercargill along State Highway One towards Dunedin. Look for the small blue B&B
direction sign on left side of road at Kennington corner. Then keep an eye out for The
Manor's main entrance sign some 800 metres after your turn
