The English style Georgian lodge is situated in a quiet semi-rural aspect close to town with 3
acres of tranquil water gardens featuring ponds, a waterfall and pagodas. The Lodge has three
ensuite rooms, all private and thoughtfully set out with extra sitting and reading areas.
The guest’s own spacious lounge room has rustic Kauri beams, Inglenook fireplace, wood
paneling and large, sunny, bay windows. You will find this is a wonderful place to chill out and
read or watch Sky TV, or your favorite DVD. We also have a dedicated laptop with Wi-Fi
broadband for your use.
Jeff and Linda your hosts offer you an experience you will not forget when you book into their
unique lodge. Each room is comfortably furnished with King or Queen beds, cane furniture, tea
and coffee making facilities and Wi-Fi access. All three rooms have ensuite bathrooms, high
quality bed linen and have a charm and peacefulness that will help you to relax and wind down.
The Riverview suite has an adjoining room with twin beds suitable for a family or two couples
sharing.
We also offer an unique Conference room facility, This is a spacious room with beams and an
inglenook fireplace, perfect for that quiet wedding, (10-20 people), special occasion or business

The Kauri room has exposed Kauri beams, views onto the surrounding fields and garden,
Queen size pocket sprung bed and ensuite bathroom, Wi- Fi access, tea and coffee making
facilities and dressing gowns and natural bath toiletries. Banana leaf lounge chairs and table.
Full use of the Guest’s own lounge and function room. Especially suitable for a honeymoon
suite .

The Riverview Room also has exposed beams , Kauri wall, Rimu floor, a Super King bed that
converts to two singles, and views over the garden, river and surrounding district. Guests have
full Wi Fi access, tea and coffee making facilities , dressing gowns and natural bath toiletries in
ensuite bathroom, plus Banana leaf lounge chairs and table. Guests have their own lounge with
Hi-Fi, Digital piano, library and open log fire in winter .
The Riverview suite is the Riverview Room plus the adjoining room with twin beds and shared
ensuite bathroom at an extra cost of $100 per night.
The Georgian Room has views over the country to the river, is quiet, bright and airy with a Rimu
Designmobel queen bed and its own large private His and Hers bathroom. There is also Wi-Fi
access, tea and coffee making facilities and full use of the guest’s own lounge room.

Mid-Season Special: Book our Riverview or Kauri Room for two nights and receive
complimentary $50 voucher towards a meal at the Pear Tree Restaurant.
All rooms have a peace and tranquil ambiance about them. They are tastefully decorated and
have Tea and Coffee making facilities, Wi Fi access, electric blankets, fluffy dressing gowns,
hair dryer and natural herbal toiletries. Included in the price is a wholesome ‘Healthy Organic’
breakfast with compote of fresh fruit, home made yogurt, cereals, multi grain toast, and home
made jams and marmalade or cooked English breakfast if preferred.

the property’s check in time to avoid forfeiting the full amount of the first changed or canceled

The Georgian Lodge is set in 6 acres with 3 acres of well-established gardens including
camellias, gardenias, rhododendrons, flowering cherry trees. The native ferns and flax are
abundant in the sub-tropical water gardens with its ponds and water features. Where there is
also an abundance of wild life, such as pukeko, rosela parrots, resident ducks, king fisher and
quail and of course the delightful tui.
The Guest’s lounge room opens out onto a paved area with table and chairs and is a wonderful
suntrap in the winter months and ideal for Alfresco breakfasts in the summertime.
