Alexander Hamilton House ( Croton on Hudson, NY )
The Alexander Hamilton House is a bed & breakfast in the Hudson Valley. On a cliff overlooking
the Hudson River, our inn is just a short walk to the village of Croton-on-Hudson. Conveniently
located just 48 minutes north of New York City and accessible by car or train, 20 minutes to
Tarrytown and 25 minutes to White Plains. From our inn, you have easy access to historic
houses, West Point, wineries, hiking, biking, and outlet shopping. Relax in our bed and
breakfast's beauitiful rooms, some with fireplace and whirlpool tubs! Partake in our sumptuous
breakfast and sample local cuisine from an array of wonderful restaurants.
The New Croton Dam is a hidden gem for hikers and nature lovers. All hand cut stone, and the
tallest dam in the world at its completion in 1906. Just 5 minutes drive from the inn, it's a
spectacular sight in any season! (And it's free!)

The Bridal Chamber is a spacious and romantic penthouse-style suite on the third floor of the
inn. With 5 sky lights, a king size bed, wood-burning fireplace, private bath with shower and
double whirlpool tub, cable tv, dvd player, stereo & breakfast served en suite, it's the ultimate
hideaway for a couples weekend or a diva's escape!
Rated 5 stars in The Best Places to Kiss in New York, the Bridal Chamber is the ideal place to
celebrate a honeymoon or anniversary. It's also a soothing retreat for the business traveler on

The Master Suite is a large, luxurious suite with queen size bed, green marble wood-burning

This room's distinctly unique feature is the large stained glass window you can backlight at
night. Romantic and relaxing, this room also features elegant woodwork both in the furniture and
the moldings.

walls, creating a cozy atmosphere on winter days perfect for board games in the sitting room.

The Turret Room is a large room on the second floor with a queen size bed set into a turret of
five windows, day bed (twin size), private hall bath with shower, & cable tv.
The Turret Room has a private hall bath, meaning that it is reserved exclusively for use by the
Turret Room guests, but it is located a few steps across the hall from the bedroom. We also
provide robes so you don't have to waste room in your suitcase!

Reservations& Polices:
Cancellation Policy:
We usually operate under a seven day cancellation policy. This means that reservations
cancelled less than seven days ahead will incur one night's stay as a cancellation fee.
Cancellations must be received by phone and acknowledged by a staff member. Because of the
chance of power outages or spam filters preventing email, leaving a message in any way is not
sufficient until you receive confirmation of cancellation and a cancellation number.
Rates:
In season May thru December, and holidays and holiday weekends all year command the two
person weekend rate per night. Off season is January thru April. We have a single person
discount Monday through Thursday except holidays. There is a two night minimum on
weekends, on three day holiday weekends we require a three night minimum. For more
information, please read our Policies page.
Reservations:
Call us at (914) 271-6737. Reservations are taken Monday - Friday 7am to 7pm and Saturday
and Sunday from 8am to 5pm EDT.
Payment:
When reservations are booked three months or more in advance, or on booking three rooms or
more, we require a non-refundable deposit of one night or 33% (whichever is greater) at time of
booking. We take a credit card guarantee to hold rooms booked less than three months in
advance. If a check for the total is received two weeks or more in advance, you will recieve a
surprise gift!
All reservations incur a 10% service charge and 7 3/4% sales tax plus 3% occupancy tax. Please
calculate accordingly when budgeting your stay.
