A Butler's Manor Bed and Breakfast ( Southampton, NY )
Welcome to A Butler's Manor, a Southampton, NY bed and breakfast inn.  Located on the East
End of Long Island, the village of Southampton was settled in 1640 and is the oldest English
settlement in New York State.  Our bed and breakfast was originally constructed in 1860 as the
home of William Jagger, one of the early settlers of Southampton, and is now designated as one
of New York's historic properties.  Southampton is the premier village in "The Hamptons," a
collective term for the string of charming hamlets (comprising Southampton, Water Mill,
Bridgehampton, Sagaponack, Wainscott, East Hampton, Amagansett, Sag Harbor, and Montauk)
to be found on the end of Long Island between the Shinnecock Canal and Montauk Point.

A Butler's Manor offers lodging in five individually-designed guest rooms -- all with private
bathrooms --located off a wide second-floor hallway accessible by both a front and back
staircase.  Each guest room is comfortably and tastefully furnished and includes flat screen TVs
with DVDs, CD and MP3 players and many other amenities found in five-star hotels, but with
individuality and warmth that a hotel cannot match.  Wireless Internet service is free and is
accessible anywhere on the property.  The house is situated on an acre of lushly landscaped
gardens with dozens of mature trees surrounding a beautiful full-sized swimming pool.  A full
breakfast is served in the garden in pleasant weather.

A Butler's Manor Bed and Breakfast is located one-half mile from the center of downtown
Southampton Village, where you can enjoy shopping, dining, and nearby world-class ocean
beaches, as well as access all the Hamptons-area attractions, including cultural events,
seasonal equestrian events, and award-winning Long Island wineries.

A Butler's Manor is close enough to major roadways to allow easy access, but is NOT "on the
highway" or in a busy central location that would compromise your ability to enjoy a restful,
rejuvenating stay.  When you are looking for a place to stay in the Hamptons we encourage you to
use our B&B as a centrally-located base for visiting all that the Hamptons and the surrounding
area has to offer.  We look forward to welcoming you in person!

About A Butler's Manor:

Welcome to A Butler's Manor, your elegant 1860 Colonial "home in the Hamptons." A Butler's
Manor takes its name from Christopher's profession. A proper British butler for over 20 years,
Chris ran estates in both Europe and America before "retiring" to welcome guests to our
luxurious bed and breakfast. The personal service that is the hallmark of his profession, along
with Kim's attention to detail, will make your stay at A Butler's Manor an experience in hospitality
you won't soon forget.

Our amenities include:
•  Immaculate and welcoming common rooms                                       •  Full gourmet breakfast
•  Complimentary High Speed Wireless Internet                                     •  Concierge service

A Retreat to Savor
The "Hamptons" -- actually, a collection of small, postcard-pretty villages strung like pearls on the
South Fork of Long Island -- have long been a retreat for the wealthy. Surrounded by pristine
ocean beaches, the East End of Long Island features spectacular natural beauty that has also
attracted artists and writers since before the turn of the last century. Between the villages,
agricultural and viniculture land offers open vistas, and Long Island wines on both the South and
North Forks continue to gain international acclaim.

After a day spent enjoying all that the East End has to offer, come home to relax at A Butler's
Manor.

Stroll through Chris's magnificent English cottage garden en route to the sparkling, full-sized
private pool.  Enjoy a book from our library under the shade of our magnificent 150-year old
Sycamore Maple tree on balmy summer afternoons, or before a crackling fire on cool evenings.
Or simply unwind in the garden and watch the butterflies dance among the flowers and the birds
frolic in the fountain.

Our grounds include:
• Outdoor dining during clement months
•  A pool deck with lounge chairs, sunbathing amenities and fluffy, oversized pool towels
•  Beautifully landscaped rose, vegetable, and border gardens
•  Beach chairs for your use at the beach.

Our Rooms:
Our five guest rooms are named and decorated for five of the estates Chris managed during his
twenty year career in private service.  While each features its own unique design and décor, all

GOOSE CREEK:
Goose Creek's exposed original ceilings personify the most charming details of our 1860
house.  Named for a Hamptons mansion, soothing herb green walls, a quilted queen-sized
cherry sleigh bed and writing desk and an antique 1880 "knock-down" wardrobe make this room
a special retreat.  The bathroom features tumbled marble flooring and a tile neo-angle shower.

Maximum occupancy:  2
$165 - $450.

OAK KNOLL:
Named for a Gold Coast estate on the North Shore of Long Island, there's an Italianate flair to
Oak Knoll, with its soaring cathedral ceiling, chandelier, queen-sized pewter-finished bed, and
antique burl wood mahogany armoire.  Rich fabrics and carpet in warm shades of burgundy,
taupe, and cream make this a favorite room.  Tumbled marble flooring sets off a jewel box
bathroom with neo-angle shower.

Maximum occupancy:  2
$165 - $450.

CLIFFSIDE:
Cliffside's beachy cottage style brings the feel of the California coastal town of Laguna Beach to
the Hamptons.  Soft shades of sage green and taupe, a hand-stitched quilt on the queen-sized
bed, a cherry writing desk, a selection of bath salts (perfect for a soothing bath after an active
day), touches of wicker, starfish and shells...  you can almost smell the Pacific ocean!

Maximum occupancy:  2
$190 - $495.

ETON COURT:
A mixture of the formality of an English manor house and a cottage in the countryside, Eton Court
features a King-sized bed, an antique desk and bureau, paneled wainscotting and a bookshelf
stocked with British crime novels.  Enjoy a bubble bath in the large, bright bathroom overlooking
the garden and pool. May be configured as two Twin beds.

Maximum occupancy:  2
$215 - $595

VILLEFRANCHE:
Villefranche, our junior suite and most popular room, is as sunny and welcoming as the Cote
d'Azur town for which it is named.  Snuggle in the queen-sized raised four-poster bed or curl up
on the sofa with a good book or a glass of sherry.  Our most spacious room, Villefranche
overlooks the garden and boasts a large antique armoire and writing desk.  The bathroom is
large and bright and features a skylight over the tub-shower combination.  The perfect choice for
a honeymoon or anniversary!

Maximum occupancy:  3
$215 - $595.
