General information - If you are planning a trip to Amsterdam and would like to stay in a quitely
located immaculately clean B&B, please consider being our guest.
We are situated 10 minutes from the center of Amsterdam by bus. The bus runs every 15
minutes to and from C.S. up until 23.45 midnight (all night on weekends).
I supply you with maps and brochures, tell you about the city, the surroundings and I help you
plan your days. With advance reservations free pick-up services from the train station. Taxi
services provided to airport and train station. I am also a ticket agent on day-trips and
excursions.
Local information - Within walking distance we have got a shopping centre, bars, supermarkets
and excellent restaurants. Also within walking distance we have got the recreation park 't
Twiske were you can go jogging along the beautiful beaches or cycle / walk through it and enjoy
what nature has to offer.
Rooms:
Both rooms come with private bathrooms, free coffee & tea facilities, a mini bar and a
television. An extra bed is also available for both rooms.
Back room - This is the back room which is also the largest room.

Back room bathroom - The bathroom is large and very clean, excellent shower with hot and
cold water at all times.
Garden view - This is the view you have from the back room.
Front room - This is the front room which is a beautiful double room.
Front room bathroom - Like the other one, this bathroom is also large and very clean, excellent
shower with hot and cold water at all times.

Zaanse schans - The 'Zaanse Schans' is a characteristic living and working area on the River
Zaan, with wooden houses and windmills dating from the seventeenth and eighteenth century.
Volendam - Volendam, the old fishing village at the IJssellake, where fresh fish is still brought
in on a daily basis. Volendam and its traditional costume, the small houses with gabled roofs
and its typical Dike.
'T twiske - There is also the possibility to rent bike's in Landsmeer. You can cycle from
Colette's B&B to the Twiske nature reserve or make a nice day and cycle to Volendam, Marken
or the Zaanse Schans. Colette will supply you with details.
Madurodam - Miniature city Madurodam; Holland in just one city! In this miniature city, among
many other attractions, you will see the canal houses of Amsterdam, the Alkmaar
cheesemarket, and parts of the Delta Works, all replicated in minute detail on a 1:25 scale.
Canal cruises - This tour take's you through the Amsterdam canals. Alongside these canals
you can see 17th century merchant houses, with their beautiful fronts, churches with bell
towers and 16th and 17th century warehouses.
Alkmaar cheese market - In 1901 the Waagplein was enlarged for the last time. Before then
the square was almost fully built up. Annually about 100.000 people visit the cheesemarket of
Alkmaar. From all over the world people come to the cheesemarket.
Keukenhof - Enjoy the beautiful flowers Holland has to offer at the Keukenhof. Open from April
to May.
