Great Northern Bed & Breakfast ( Chester, MT )
The Great Northern Bed & Breakfast invites you to come enjoy the intimacy of a renovated 1909
farm cottage!
This cozy one-bedroom retreat welcomes you to Big Sky country and is a short walk from the
shops and cafes of downtown Chester. Menus of the Empire Builder and the Northern Star,
legendary passenger trains of the Great Northern Railway, inspire our breakfast dishes.
We are located eighteen miles north of the Marias River, forty miles south of the Sweetgrass
Hills, and 110 miles east of Glacier National Park—the perfect respite as you take in the
sweeping views of Montana’s high plains.
Accomodations:
Features of the Great Northern include a luxurious steam shower and an interior stained glass
panel by local artist Craig Waldron, depicting Great Northern's Empire Builder passenger train
roaring across the Montana prairie.
Directly adjacent to the B&B is the recording studio of Grammy nominated pianist and
composer Philip Aaberg. Masterclasses on keyboards, improvisation, composition, and
technique available by special reservation.
Advance reservations are strongly recommended, but walk-ins are welcome during operating
hours of 7am—11pm.
RATES
$90/night single or double occupancy. $25 per additional person. One queen bed & one futon
bed available.
Late cancellation fee within 24 hours of scheduled arrival.

Your stay at the Great Northern Bed & Breakfast includes a mouthwatering gourmet breakfast,
served with fresh-squeezed orange juice and tea or coffee, and brought to you between 7:30
and 9:30am. Please be sure to advise if you have food restrictions or special requests, and
approximately what time you wish to have breakfast delivered.
