This 1914 Historic abode with it’s “Cowboy Hi-stylin’ Décor” is adjacent to the famous Canyon
Ferry Wildlife Management Area, one of the Audubon Society’s favorite spots. This refuge lies on
the Trail of Lewis & Clark between the famous Crimson Bluffs & Gates of the Mountains, just 30
minutes south of Helena. Helena is Montana’s Capital City of Old West Millionaires, on the
popular “Yellowstone to Glacier Parks’ Corridor”.
HIGH STYLIN’ TURN OF FORMER CENTURY- CATTLE BARON MANSION;
Once the Palatial Home of famous railroad contractor, entrepreneur and “King of the Hereford
Kings” AB. Cook , the mansion was built in 1914 as a grand summer house then, moved to it’s
present location by Cook’s playboy millionaire step-son, and ren-ovated in 1954. Eight rooms &
two cabins were completely restored to it’s original grace and majesty in 1999. A Log Sports
Cabin by the Creek and Shabby-Chic Honey-moon Cottage in the old Gate House are being
readied for reservations in 2010.
