Enjoy Comfort, Cuisine and Gourmet Coffee in our 1884 home located in the historic district of
New Ulm overlooking the Minnesota River Valley. Four blocks from downtown New Ulm's specialty
and antique shops and unique restaurants. All guest rooms have private baths and air
conditioning and some have fireplaces and whirlpools tubs. We are just a short distance from
Schell's Brewery and the Morgan Creek Vineyards and Flandrau State Park. This home features
eight types of wood in its woodwork, a marble fireplace, beveled glass French doors, and a baby
grand piano that we welcome our guests to play. Online reservations are available on our website.

Castle Room
$139 - Our most spacious guest room that had been designated as the Beecher Boys Room.
Feel like royalty and relax while our "Silent Knight" keeps watch.

Crystal Room
$149 - Indulge yourself in this warmly decorated room featuring Austrian Crystal accents. As noted
in the blue prints for the 1915 renovation, this room was the "Master's Room".

* Queen-sized Serta Perfect Day “Enrapture” Mattress
* Sitting area with gliders
* Fireplace
* private bath with the original ceramic wall and floor tile dating back to the late 1800's
* Whirlpool tub for two.
Flower Room
$109 - A bright and pleasant room that was originally used as the “guest room.” Always a favorite
throughout the year.
Amenities
* Queen-sized four-poster bed
* Private bath with a rain shower and original antique pedestal sink.
* The room is completed with some fine antique pieces originating back to the early 1900's.
Ivy Room
$119 - Enjoy the sunrise and relax in the soothing colors of nature. This room was an addition for
Mrs. Beecher in the renovation of 1915.

* Pillow-top queen-sized bed
* Fireplace
* Private bath including the original pedestal sink and "water closet"
* Tiled full-body shower.
Black Forest Suite
$169 - These rooms are in a private area secluded in the west side of the second floor of the
house; serenely decorated with items from the Black Forest area of Germany. These two rooms
were maids’ rooms in the early 1900's.
Amenities
* Cozy bedroom with a queen-sized pillow top bed.
* Full private bath
* Hot tub room with fireplace and plush terry robes

Welcome Room
Welcome to the Deutsche Strasse Bed & Breakfast! Tour the rooms of the main floor & learn the
history of this home built in 1884. Stay with us and experience the charm and hospitality of the "Old
Country".
Formal Dining Room
Beautiful pecan tree wood wainscoting and ceiling beams enhance the warmth of this room.
Our guests have used this room as a game room. Groups are also welcome to rent this area
for luncheons, dinners and other festive occasions.
Living Room
Relax with a complimentary glass of wine by the candle-lit marble fireplace with soft music in the
background and experience the comforting therapy of watching the fish in our 55 gallon aquarium.
Peruse our bookshelves to find a book or magazine or choose one of our many board games.
All-Season Sun Porch
The Deutsche Strasse B&B proudly serves our fresh ground signature breakfast blend coffee
with a full, hot breakfast. Coffee is available on the sun porch one hour prior to the serving of
breakfast for those guests who wish to enjoy the morning sun rising over the Minnesota River
Valley. We welcome our guests to use the "sitting area" in the evening or in the morning.
Policies and Amenities:
Guests are welcome to check in at any time between 4:30 and 6:30 p.m.
Please notify us if you prefer to check in at another time.
Check out time is 11 a.m.
Children by arrangement.
Sorry, we cannot accommodate pets.
