Discover all the charm and comfort of an Early 18th Century Farmhouse nestled within a quiet
country setting near historic Concord, west of Boston. Skiing, stables and fine dining are within
walking distance.
The Samuel Fitch House is located on a beautifully landscaped two acre wooded lot. Stone
walls enclose the backyard and meander through the woods to the Nashoba Valley Ski Area
located next door. The rolling front lawn offers snow tubing in the winter and a picturesque site
in the summer where you can sit under the big ol' tree and sip an iced tea. A brick patio in the
back of the house is located under an antique lilac bush and overlooks beautiful herb and
flower gardens. The south-facing deck of the Carriage House is a warm spot, even on the
coldest of winter days. This Bed and Breakfast has many orignal 18th Century features
including a dining room used as a tavern during the pre-revolutionary period and a tunnel from
the Underground Railway.

Accommodations:
The Fitch Suite; The Fitch Suite has a bedroom with queen-size pencil post bed with
hand-crocheted canopy and original wide hardwood floors with area rugs.
This romantic and brightly lit room has antique blue painted walls, a beamed ceiling and is
filled with wonderful antiques, an armoire and butler's desk. Hanging in this room are the wills
of Samuel Fitch and Francis Leighton.
A private screened porch completes this suite - lovely for an outdoor breakfast over looking the
gardens. Spring lilacs fill this suite with a beautiful fragrance.
The Fitch Suite is on the first floor and includes a keeping room (a living room with a working
fireplace). The private bath has a tub/shower.
The Garden Suite; Decorated in a garden theme using light, airy colors with window boxes on
the inside of the windows, this bright sunny room greets the morning sunrise. It has antique,
maple rope twin beds with floral covered down comforters. Original wide hardwood floors, large
walk-in closet and beamed ceiling complete the charm of this room. The bathroom is directly
accessed through a connecting hallway, and has a tub/shower.
A second bedroom w/double bed expands this space to a family suite.
The Carriage House; This delightful suite is connected to the main house yet separate. It has a
private entrance from an adjoining two-tiered outdoor deck.
The first floor has a fireplaced sitting area, and a breakfast nook with a large picture window
overlooking the deck and scenic grounds. Numerous windows make this a light-filled space.
The unit is equipped with a microwave, coffeemaker, toaster, sink, refrigerator, wireless
internet, and outdoor gas grill. Air conditioning available.
The Carriage House features a large, second floor bedroom with vaulted ceilings, dark green
walls and hardwood floors. Window seats add additional spaces to this open and spacious
suite. A floral down comforter and curtains complete this lovely room. There is an attached bath
with tub/shower.
The Carriage House can accommodate longer-term stays.
Meeting & Gathering Accommodations:
Host your monthly meetings, special events or business meetings that do not require an entire
conference room. Enjoy the charm of an 18th century farmhouse that offers all of the amenities
of the 21st century (fax, copying, wireless internet) along with customized refreshments to meet
your needs (from full continental breakfast to afternoon hors d'oeuvres). Accommodations can
be provided for out of town guests, speakers or participants. Average meeting size of twelve.
Special accommodations for groups of ten to twenty.
If your conference or meeting exceeds our facility size, we will be happy to host your most
important attendees (speakers, top clients) in a private, local, off-site accommodation which
includes a full breakfast and reduced rates. Let us make their business trip into a mini-vacation!

energy efficient light bulbs, composting waste, growing organic fruits and vegetables, line
drying of linens, recycling and using a wood burning stove to supplement our heat.
