Welcome to our elegantly renovated 1870s farmhouse, 20 minutes outside Cincinnati, just off the
beltline.
Eclectic plans? Mix a country drive along the Ohio through historic Western Boone County with an
uptown night in Newport at Shadowbox Cabaret or the Stained Glass Theatre or in Cincinnati at
Music Hall or the Arnoff Center for Performing Arts.

Convenience & comfort. First Farm Inn offers two guest rooms in a historic 1870s farm home.
Our 21 acres are set in Kentucky's rolling hills above the Ohio River where Indiana, Kentucky and
Ohio join.
Ride the horses, relax under the open sky in the hottub, fish in the ponds, catch a rainbow from
the stained glass windows, listen to rain on the tin roof, meet the alien in the kitchen, warm up
beside the fireplace, or visit with our horses, cats and dog or with the neighbors' cows and goats.
Accomodations:
* Treetops: $126.00 (single night weekend $135.00)
* 1870s Room: $117.00 (single night weekend $126.00)

* Check in after 3 p.m. (We try to be as accommodating as possible as long as we have time to
get the rooms ready. If you arrive early you can visit the horses, hike around, sit by the fire or
whatever until your room is ready.)

The Rooms:
Spacious Rooms First Farm Inn's spacious and attractive rooms have queen-sized beds with
private baths. Baths are accessible from inside the room.
The Treetops Guest Room's impressive size comes from its original design to house three of
the At First Farm Inn Kentucky, your bed and breakfast room includes all the amenities of a top-
quality motel or hotel plus original art and stained glass windows. Stevens brothers who each
were responsible for a different species of animals: cattle, sheep and hogs after the family
immigrated here from Germany and built the house in 1870. Previous owners added the
cathedral ceiling, wall unit and multiple sets of dimmer switches.
The antique oak bed and oak washstand were originally owned by Jen's great grandparents
whose photos are on the living room wall.We've been told the oversized bath in this room was
the site of the first indoor plumbing in the county.
The 1870s Room has tall windows overlooking the neighbor's pasture. The matching antique
oak bedroom set has been in Jen's family for four generations. Hanging quilts were made by our
great grandmothers.
Need to work while you?re here? Desks include all office supplies. Faxes can be sent or
received. Messages are delivered promptly. For a small additional charge, hold your meetings
over breakfast or brunch.
Never stayed in a B&B? We?re all different, but your room at First Farm Inn has all the amenities
of a Radisson or a Hyatt and more. Under state law, inkeepers must reside in the house to
qualify as a bed and breakfast.
Forgot something? Don't stress. We have extras of everything.
In B&B terminology, our family room, living room and dinning room are “common areas” where
you are welcome to gather and visit with other guests. You can play the piano, put a puzzle
together, play Monopoly or Scrabble or Dominos.
If you’re not sure about something, simply ask. We do our best to help you enjoy your time with
us.
Directions:
From the east or I-75: Follow signs to the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International airport,
taking I-275 west about 10 miles. Go past the airport to Exit 11 (KY 20 to Petersburg).
From the west or I-275: Take Exit 11, KY 20, (Petersburg, the first Kentucky exit from Indiana).
From the exit: Turn right off the ramp and go one mile to Stevens, the first road on the right at the
top of the hill. (When you see signs where KY 20 turns south, prepare to turn.)
First Farm Inn is one mile ahead on your right. Look for the white fence. The road dead-ends at
the far end of our property line.
Please park on the asphalt in front of the house and ring the doorbell to let us know you've
arrived.
