The lodgings are located in the area of Piazza Bologna (Bologna square) in Rome city center.
The building dates 1934 and while preserving the original structures , it has been widely
refurbished and decorated in modern style. The attentive research of design made perfectly fits
the quality of the service. Each room comply with the provision of law for Guest houses and
B&B in the Roman area and have fully stood the quality controls runned by the Lazio Region
Turism Authority.
Beginning with the renovation first and ending with the final choice of the furniture, we have
attempted to preserve the historical character of the building while infusing it with a modern
architectonical concept. We have combined the preciousness of the original items with
contemporary elegance and creativity.
When choosing the names of our rooms, we were inspired by the typically italian culture of the
pleasure: we believe that the joy and value of the Opera, the symbol of Italian culture all over the
world, is the best expression of the character we sought for.
Stefano, the manager and owner of the B&B, is particularly close to the places where he grew
up and where his family has been living for generations. He warmly welcomes his guests and
is attentive to their every request. He makes everyone live their own SPECIAL ROMAN
EXPERIENCE
KOSHER breakfast:
All the breakfasts served at the B&B are rigorously Kosher; they respect all the dietary norms as
established by Jewish Law. Food, plates and cutlery adhere to the standart of Kashruth of the
Orthodox Roman Rabbinate. When reserving, it is possible to request a Glatt kosher breakfast
with holav Israel. We will be happy to order for you kosher shabbat meals or purchase products
of your choice. A plata and hot water dispenser are available as well.
GLUTEN FREE breakfast: The B&B offers breakfast for those who lack tolerance to gluten so
that coeliac turists could travel with full confidence. Biscuits, crackers, croissants and cereals
all come from the rigorous list of the AIC (Italian Association for the Celiac Desease). The gluten
free breakfast should be requested as an additional service when reserving .
Rooms:
Each of the rooms in our lodgings has all comforts: private bathrooms, central heating, air
conditioner (for both warm and cold air), flat screen TV, safe, mini-bar, wired and wireless
internet access, and hairdryer. The ergonomic mattresses and pillows are made of natural
hypoallergenic cotton with anti-mite permanent treatment. Particular attention has been given to
the requirements of Jewish guests, who need mezuzot, Shabbat timers, kosher food, kettles,
plata (electric food warmer); Shabbat can be fully observed at our B&B.
