Agriturismo Lavanda Blu sits on a panoramic hillside overlooking a peaceful valley with a view
of the Sibillini Mountains. Nestled amongst vineyards, olive groves and fields of sunflowers in
the ancient countryside of the medieval village of Carassai, it's an ideal place to explore the area
and to relax.
We are located 20 minutes from the beach, 30 minutes from the mountains, 60 minutes from
the beautiful city of Ascoli Piceno and are surrounded by beautiful patchwork hills dotted with
charming medieval villages.
Our Agriturismo has 4 bed and breakfast rooms, 2 holiday apartments and a minicamping –
areas in which to pitch a tent in the countryside and olive grove surrounding the agriturismo.
Lavanda Blu is a small organic farm . We grow lavender, rosemary and other herbs, wine
grapes, olives, fruit trees and have a kitchen garden. We use the produce from our farm in the
preparaton of meals and jams.
Le Marche is on the eastern side of central Italy, between the Adriatic Sea and the Apennine
mountains. Much of it remains unspoilt by tourism and modern life. It is a magical area rich in
history and spectacular beauty.
Whether you want to cycle, hike, explore local food and wine, admire pieces of Renaissance art
and architecture, or just relax and soak in the Italian art of 'far niente' (do nothing), Le Marche
has plenty to offer.
Accomodation:
Four en-suite bed and breakfast rooms (sleeps 2 each, extra cot available)
One 2 bedroom self-catering apartment that has a queen bed and bunk beds (sleeps 2-4)
One 1 bedroom self-catering apartment that has a queen bed and a sofa bed (sleeps 2-3)
Twelve agri-camp sites. These are areas for tents in the olive grove and fields.
We have separate bathrooms and showers for campers
Camp sites do not have electricity
We supply a refrigerator for campers
Breakfast including fresh bread, homemade cakes and jams, fresh fruit, cereals, coffee, tea,
milk and juice is included in the bed and breakfast rooms, and can also be purchased by
campers and occupants of the apartments.
In the tradition of the first Agriturismi, we invite you to join our family for evening meals made
with fresh, local ingredients and prepared by chef Elizabetta. Prices vary from €15-30 per person
depending on the meal of the day. Price includes wine, water and coffee. Discounts for seniors
and children 10 and under (3 and under free). Limited space available, reservations required.
We have a refrigerator stocked with cold drinks for purchase.
There is outdoor seating in the shade, sun chairs, picnic tables and a common room in the
main building for our guests.

* 2 night minimum stay in apartments and B&B
* 10% discount for groups of more than 8 people
* Cot available for €10/night (free for children under 6)
* Cancellations must be made 10 day prior to arrival date
* €50 confirmation deposit required
* Payment due upon arrival

* Apartments are equipped with cooking utensils and dishes.
* On request we provide customized food shopping (extra charge).
* All bed linen and bath towels provided for rooms and apartments. Bed linens changed once
weekly, bath towels changed every 3 days. €12 extra for additional linen changes.
* Clothes Washing:
There is a self-service laundromat in town that has an automatic clothes dryer.
There is a drycleaner/laundry in town.
Use of our washing machine €5 per washload
* We have a few beach towels and 2 beach umbrellas you may borrow (request beforehand as
supply is limited).
* Internet access.
* We have 2 mountain bikes you may borrow.
* No smoking allowed in the building, we provide ashtrays outdoors.
* We have a refrigerator stocked with cold drinks for purchase
