discover one of Kerala's undiscovered beaches.
Marari originates from " Mararikulam ", a local fishing villages, tucked away behind palm
trees. Marari offers endless miles of sandy beaches backed by swaying palms, virgin
territory where you can experience the local charm and traditional Kerala hospitality at its
best.
Explore the marvellous backwaters, where the tranquility, the stunning scenery and the
feeling of being transported back in time, make it a superbly relaxing and inspiring

Beach Homes
MARARI BEACH HOMES are four self contained fishermen's cottages done up with a large
veranda to relax, a bedroom, dressing room, toilet with hot and cold water and some have
a furnished kitchen. The cottages are on the MARARI BEACH, just about an hour's drive
from Cochin and 15 minutes from Alleppey Town. It is a very quite relaxing place with no
crowds. White sandy beach with some fishing activity. Taxis, autorickshaws and bus
available close by. Internet facility available within walking distance. Ideal place for people
who enjoy cooking . Cook serves simple traditional cuisine . Minimum stay - three days.
Tours to Alleppey, Fort Cochin, Krishnapuram Palace and Backwater cruises can be
organised.
Each cottage is different:
The Sitar has an air conditioned bedroom with an anteroom for children and has a large
veranda , a kitchen and bathroom.
The Kombhu has a bedroom with attached open to sky bathroom , a childrens room and a
large veranda on classical pillars.
The Nagaswaram has two bedrooms with a children's room, open to sky bathrooms and
a veranda.
The fisherman's cottage has a bedroom, bathroom and a large veranda.
Violin also has a smaller bedroom with an attached bathroom.
Food
Marari Beach Homes gives you the option to cook yourself or order ethnic Kerala food, if
you like served traditionally on plantain leaves.
Only Keralan cuisine is available and fresh caught fish and vegetables are served. Fruits
from the garden is a regular item at all meals.
