This lovely timbered cottage is situated in the heart of the old village of Astwood Bank, near
Redditch, Worcestershire.
Since it was constructed in 1864, it has served as a needle mill, a cobblers shop and in 1906 as
the village Social Club, when it was opened by Mr George Cadbury of the Cadbury chocolate fame.
The first photograph shows the occasion of the opening of the village Social Club, and the other two

However, old George is by no means the only celebrity to have visited us. Only recently we played
host to Mr & Mrs Roy Hudd and before them, members of the Ukelele Orchestra of Great Britain and
the legendary rock band Ocean Colour Scene.
But then as far as we are concerned, all our guests are celebrities - and all can expect the same
celebrity treatment from your hosts, Dave and Jill Sealey.
Our services:
Meals
In the cosy, comfortable surroundings of our oak-beamed dining room you can ease into your day
with a delicious breakfast. Fresh fruit, cereals, juice or yoghurt are followed by one of our superlative
full English breakfasts (locally sourced free-range eggs, bacon and sausage, accompanied by
freshly brewed coffee or tea, toast and preserves).
Vegetarian options are always available, and we're more than happy to accommodate any special
dietary requirements. Delicious, reasonably-priced two-course evening meals, home-cooked from
fresh local produce, can also be prepared by prior arrangement.
There are also many excellent local pubs and restaurants to suit all tastes, including the Why Not
Inn, the Nevill Arms and Spice Fusion - and of course, the Oddfellows Arms, just up the road from
us.
Accommodation:
Our stylishly furnished guest bedrooms offer all of those special "home-from-home" comforts: soft,
Egyptian cotton bed linen, speciality tea & coffee-making facilities, hairdryer and complimentary
toiletries, internet access and TV with Freeview and DVD features.
The double rooms are all either en-suite or have exclusive bathroom or shower room access.
Rates:
* £55 per room per night, including full English breakfast
* Special rates for single occupancy
* Children welcome

Warwickshire, Vine Cottage is within easy reach of a huge range of beautiful places and interesting
things to see and do. Whether you visiting the area for work or leisure, for sport or history, for
