The High Mountain Lodge ( Winter Park, Colorado )
The High Mountain Lodge is casual, comfortable, and welcoming to singles, couples, and
families alike. Dogs with well-mannered owners enjoy the friendly atmosphere, too.
Located four miles west of Fraser in a quiet valley away from the traffic and trains, all rooms
have a private bathroom, private entrances, and most have fireplaces.
Our indoor atrium with a pool, sauna, and hot tub is a great place to relax after an active day of
skiing, hiking, mountain biking, shopping, fishing, peak-bagging, or a round of golf. The atrium's
rec room has a television with hundreds of satellite channels. You can also watch videos and
DVDs from our extensive library. Play a game of pool, or curl up with a book; it's up to you.
Start the day with a perfect breakfast that will keep your energy going for hours. We serve a
simple "First Tracks" breakfast for those wishing to make an early start, and our usual gourmet
breakfast featuring homemade breads, fresh fruit, and egg dishes. You won't have to go to town
for a cappucino or latte, either, as we have our own espresso maker, and feature the finest
locally roasted coffee beans.
After a day of awesome adventures, we'll welcome you back to the Lodge with our après
ski/bike/hike drinks and tasty treats. And in the winter we feature hearty, simple suppers that will
have you stoked for the next day’s activities.
Rooms&Reservation:
The High Mountain Lodge features spacious guest rooms; many with fireplaces, and all with
private baths--though the bathrooms tend to be small and compact. Choose a room opening
onto the pool atrium or pick a brighter room or suite facing west across the Spring Branch valley
of Crooked Creek.
The rooms above the Atrium (11-14) all have private entrances you can drive to as well as more
spacious bathrooms.
Rates quoted are double occupancy. If the room can accommodate additional people, we
charge $25 for each additional adult per day and $15 for each additional child per day.
Many of our rooms are dog friendly. We charge $15 per night for a dog, which includes a "doggie
welcome basket" with treats, a toy, and "pickup bags." There is also a $50 refundable deposit.
Several of the rooms interconnect and are ideal for larger families or for couples traveling
together.
The High Mountain Lodge boasts two suites, one a pool atrium view and the other a valley view.
Both have fireplaces, and the sofas in the sitting rooms are sofa-sleepers so that the rooms
can easily accommodate families.

the Atrium there’s a game room boasting a fireplace, pool table, a foosball table, a large
