The Old Town GuestHouse was newly built in 1997 as a bed and breakfast inn yet retaining the
charm of the original 1892 Firestation. Only a few steps away from quaint boutiques, galleries,
antique shops and restaurants, the three story brick building is in perfect harmony with the 1859
period construction of Colorado Springs' historic Old Colorado City , also known as the
"heartbeat of Colorado Springs" and Old Town.
The GuestHouse caters to adults for leisure travel and gives corporate rates to business
travelers. All rentals include breakfast, evening reception, off-street parking and virtually
soundproof rooms. The environment is smoke free. A special guest room offers disabled
friendly lodging and our elevator makes all rooms fully accessible.
Guest Rooms:
Each guest room is unique in design but identical in total comfort. The amenities include:
TV/VCR/DVD, refrigerator, coffee machine, CD player and individually controlled A/C. The private
bathrooms have double sinks. Each desk area has a phone with voice mail and a computer
port. The African Orchid room exceeds ADA guidelines for disabled travelers. All floors and
rooms are accessible by elevator.

Facility:
The conference facility is approximately five hundred square feet and can accommodate groups
of up to 45 people. With 5-foot moveable tables and ergonomic office style chairs, the room can
be configured to meet your specific needs.
From Board meetings and strategy sessions, to presentations and training; from awards
dinners, to grooms' dinners; from birthdays to small wedding receptions, the Conference Facility
at the GuestHouse is the ideal place.
Room amenities include: an eight by four foot dry marker board surrounded by tack board side
walls. A projector screen is mounted in the ceiling. Overhead and hi-res video projection
equipment, as well as easels for poster paper, are available on request. Fax, printer and copy
services are also availabe. The room has a phone and multiple computer ports and, like the rest
of the Inn, is fully WIFI enabled. All lights are on dimmers.
Meals, snacks and beverage service are available at reasonable cost with advance notice and
discounts apply when overnight accommodations are booked in conjunction with your event.
NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL VIDEOCONFERENCING
Videoconferencing offers face-to-face interaction without the expense and inconvenience of
travel. Depositions, placement interviews, even preliminary real estate shopping can be
accomplished in a matter of an hour or two instead of a day or two.
Our room and VC equipment can serve from 1 to 20+ attendees, advanced capabilities allow
seamless transition of camera focus among primary attendees. Flawless reception is virtually
guaranteed. Either ISDN or IP technology may be employed eliminating the need and expense of
outside bridging services.
VideoConferencing amenities include: Complete privacy, 1 to 20 attendees, choice of
technology, 24/7 availability, video recording capability in addition to all of our normal Conference
Facility features and services.
Dining Room:
Breakfast is a special time of the day. The guest may want quiet time to read the paper (several
provided) or join other guests to discuss theirBreakfast is Served travels. Weather permitting, the
meal can be enjoyed on our veranda overlooking Pikes Peak.
Our gourmet meals are planned to balance nutrition with good eating. Special dietary needs will
be accommodated - just let the Innkeepers know a bit in advance.
The coffee is ON at 6:30 and those with early departure needs will have breakfast prepared to go.
Home away from home! Relaxing chairs, books to peruse, a fire in the fireplace and snow
covered Pikes Peak out the window.
Unwind with a glass of wine or beer in the evening, a snack to munch on and menus from
almost anyplace in town. We make dinner recommendations and reservations but we do expect
a candid review of the cuisine in the morning.
The Old Town GuestHouse is equipped with all of the finest amenities and safety features.
Smoke, fire & burgler alarms, of course, a sprinkler system, ADA approved room and full
accessibility from the parking lot all the way to the third floor guest rooms.
But, while we have an elevator, we don't want you to miss our lovely floral painted staircase. Like
a walk in the garden, the stairwell is resplendent with native Colorado flora no matter what the
weather is like outside.
