Yosemite National Park, on Highway 120 in Groveland. The Hotel Charlotte is in the Sierra Nevada
foothills of California, not far from Stanislaus National Forest and Tuolumne River.
Located in the gold rush era town of Groveland, the Hotel Charlotte, a 10 room bed & breakfast
hotel on the National Register of Historic Places, is home to Café Charlotte, a full service
Groveland restaurant & bar. Nearby is an airport, golf course and stables at Pine Mountain Lake.
Whitewater river rafting is popular on this stretch of the Tuolumne River and we are just 24 miles
from Yosemite National Park on scenic Highway 120, the Big Oak Flat entrance.
Guests in Groveland enjoy the Hotel Charlotte's central location to activities, shops, library,
museum, historic jail house, Mountain Sage nursery and gardens, Away in the Woods quilt shop

Rooms & Rates Hotel Near Yosemite
The Hotel Charlotte has 10 individually decorated bed and breakfast hotel guest rooms, each with
a private bath, most on the second floor. All rooms are simple in their decor and have good beds,
central air conditioning, thick windows with sound proofing, telephones with free calls to anywhere
in the USA and Dish TV with hundreds of channels. The photo above is traditional room 9 with a
queen bed and cast-iron clawfoot tub with shower.
Traditional rooms are cozy and basic in their furnishings and decor. At $114 in the winter season
until 3/25/2010 and then $119 through October and then back down to $114 through March of
2011. Rates include a pancake & scrambled egg buffet breakfast for 2 people and free internet.
Most traditional rooms are queen bedded, although room 5 has two twins. Upgrades for this year
include Dish TV and phone in every room with free calls anywhere in the USA and we have added
breakfast meat to our morning buffet.
Adjoining rooms cater to small groups and families traveling together. Adjoining rooms are two
bedrooms connected by the bathroom. Connecting rooms 1&3 have a room with two twin beds, the
other a queen bed. Connecting rooms 2&4 have a double bed and two twins. Each room has Dish
TV, free calls anywhere in the USA and WiFi access. Connected rooms are perfect for those
traveling with children or friends and are $189, breakfast included for 4 people. These rooms can
hold a 5th person with the addition of a rollaway for $20 more.
Large Rooms include Room 12, TV and the Chamber rooms.
Room 12 has a queen bed, open bath where the spa tub is in the room giving it a more modern
feel than the other rooms. Dish TV, WiFi and free phone calls. This room is $159 per night for two
people.
The TV Room overlooks the back of the Hotel from the 2nd floor and has a queen bed, a cast-iron
clawfoot tub/shower combination and an electric fireplace and is $149 per night for two people.
The Chamber Room, on the 1st floor allows pets ($20 additional) and provides easier access for
those with difficulty traversing stairs. The Chamber Room is our largest room and has two queen
beds and bath with a clawfoot tub/shower combination. This room is $189 for 4 people and with
the addition of a rollaway can hold a 5th person for $20 additional, breakfast included. The
Chamber room is pet friendly.
Recently installed are Satellite Dish TVs in every room and phones with free calls to anywhere in
the USA.

The Hotel Charlotte restaurant, Café Charlotte, enjoys a popular reputation for good food, fairly
priced and served in a friendly and comfortable atmosphere. We are an outdoor, vacation
destination and do not require anything more than casual attire, though an occasional top hat and
tails is not unheard of. Truly superb steaks, delicious pastas, many chicken favorites and unique
daily specials along with home made desserts showcase the creative talents of owner-chef Victor
Niebylski. We offer an ever-changing menu with selections for kids, vegetarians and vegans. Our
menu changes weekly, but the basics remain!
